Born in 1994. Gifted my first wooden easel in 1999. I started attending an art class in 2002, learning basic concepts and color theories by a most wonderful teacher, Mrs. Vannah Rehmeyer. I learned methods of painting using an acrylic medium. I excelled in art classes in middle school; being asked to create play backdrops for the school and a local daycare. My extremely supportive art teacher at the time suggested I attend a well-known visual arts high school. In high school I began studying visual arts and figure art, the main focus being observational drawings, Then, I began learning methods of painting using oil based paint, as well as sculpting using oil-based clay. I was gifted amazing experiences from very talented teachers who not only helped me perfect my skills but also inspired me with their own passions as artists, and provided wonderful opportunities to learn a vast amount of the history of art in all forms and ideas. As college approached I felt that I had to take my knowledge of art and apply it into a realistic career as a graphic designer. College started and I was once again blessed with amazing professors who challenged, guided, and influenced me with grace, mastery and dedication. Every class and in every subject I was refreshed with knowledge of how my skills apply to this world. I am grateful for my vast support group who helped strengthen me to be the versatile artist I am today.
